Patricia “Pat” Kise, 85, Vero Beach

Patricia “Pat” Kise, 85, died May 12, 2013, at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 20 years, coming from Miami.

She retired from Eastern Airlines as a reservationist in 1988 after 12 years of service.

Previously, she worked for a local dress shop as an alterationist for their customers, at a local church part time as an office manager and as an office manager for the Joseph G. Moretti Construction Co. in Miami.

She volunteered at the Vero Beach Public Library and as a tax preparer for AARP.

She attended Holy Cross Catholic Church.

She was a graduate of City College, New York.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Frederick P. Kise, of Vero Beach; sons, Christopher Michael Kise and Rick Kise, of Tallahassee; sisters, Marie Ingenito, of Orlando, Helen Donegan, of West Palm Beach and Julie Paolillo, of Houston; brother, Sonny Pirillo, of Longwood; and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Camille Ryan; and brothers, Joseph Pirillo, Gigi Pirillo and Augie Pirillo.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer and Parkinson Association of Indian River County, 2300 Fifth Ave., Suite 150, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. May 18 at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach.

A prayer service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

A reception for family and friends at the Vero Beach Hotel and Spa will follow the service.
