Virginia Emma Hurd, 94, died May 11, 2013, at The Place of Vero Beach.
She was born in Milford, Conn., and lived in Vero Beach for 30 years, coming from Watertown, Conn.
She worked for General Electric Co.; Newtown, Conn., School System; and New Haven Hospital as a respiratory therapist.
She was a member of Christ Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Page Molnar, of Waterbury, Conn.; sister, Mary Elizabeth Twombly, of Manchester, Conn.; and brother, Charles Clifford Baldwin, of Broken Arrow, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Edward Page Hurd.

Services will be conducted at a later date.
