Cecil James Jenkins, 83, died May 12, 2013, at home.
He was born in Vero Beach and was a lifetime resident.
He served in the Marine Corps. He was an assembler at Piper Aircraft until his retirement.
He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his sons, James Scott Jenkins, of Macon, Ga., John Rodney Jenkins, of Sebastian and Glenn Stewart Jenkins, of Vero Beach; several brothers and sisters; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 21 years, Ophelia Jenkins.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. May 16 at Winter Beach Cemetery.
