Ruth Barrows Harvey, 99, died April 28, 2013, at her home.
She was born in Cleveland, and she lived 35 years in Atlantis, before moving to Vero Beach in 2008.
She graduated in 1935 from the University of Cincinnati, and was a member of Chi Omega.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol Harvey Barrows; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen; sons, Charles Kenney, and Allen “Barry” Barrows;
A celebration of her life will be at 11 a.m. June 1 at the Community Church Chapel, Vero Beach.
Arrangements are by The Neptune Society, Boynton Beach.
