Dorothy “Dot” Bowe, 86, died May 3, 2013.
She was born in Vero Beach and was a lifelong resident.
Before retirement she was a school nurse at Indian River County Schools.
Survivors include her husband, Prince Bowe, of Vero Beach; son, John Allen Dupree, of Miami; daughters, Sharon Jelks and Mamie Bain, both of Vero Beach; eight grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. May 10 at Hortense/Mills Memorial Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. May 11 at New Bethel AME Church.
