Genealogical technology tips at meeting May 14

VERO BEACH — The season’s final meeting of the Indian River Genealogical Society will be Tuesday, May 14, at 9:30 a.m. in the large, first floor conference room of the Indian River County Main Library, 1600 21st St. in Vero Beach.

Following a brief business session, refreshments will be served.

The program will begin at approximately 10:30 a.m.

This and all IRGS general meetings are free and open to the public.

Bob Inhoff, IRGS Webmaster, will present a program titled “Technology Tips for Your Genealogical Research.” The presentation will review several powerful resources to enhance research and increase productivity as we search for ancestors.

Attendees will discover new ways to utilize computers and other technology in learning, organizing research, sharing findings, and securing data.

In addition to his service on the society’s Board of Directors, Bob is the Webmaster for the Goff-Gough Family Association.

Since relocating to Indian River County from Minneapolis six years ago, he has been an active volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and the Florida Archive and Genealogy Department of the Indian River County Library.

The IRGS meets each second Tuesday, September through May.
