Lois Jean Taylor, 87, died April 30, 2013, at Palm Garden of Vero Beach.
She was born in Royal Oak, Mich., and lived in Vero Beach for 62 years, coming from Carlton, Mich.
She retired after 14 years working with the Housing Authority for Indian River County.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughters, Gloria Jean Spear, of Anderson S.C., and Linda Kyzer, of Vero Beach; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Clarence E. Taylor.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. May 3 at the First Church of the Nazarene with the funeral at 2 p.m.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
Arrangements are by the Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
