BUZZ: Another #change could be coming to #facebook

If you use twitter you’re already used to seeing hashtags, #. If you’re not, be prepared because facebook might be adopting the way twitter and other platforms use to set terms or phrases to be searched.

Here is a more in-depth definition: http://bit.ly/2ucC4

Another great way to use hashtags are to follow a certain conversation or topic through the social media platform.

While there are some people who are annoyed because #some #people #use #too #many #hashtags, I think that you’ll always find others overusing an option because they simply don’t understand that their actions are not helping their cause of getting information out there.

The message is only received if the messenger can start a dialogue with them. Plus, I’d rather have hashtags than someone always asking me to play Farmville.

Also, they are one of the last platforms not to use hashtags, Google+, Tumblr, Instagram, and Flickr, already incorporate them.

Personally I’d love to see hashtags come to facebook. If you use tweetdeck or hootsuite you’re already using hashtags for twitter and it would be nice not to have to send a second message without the symbol.

And if you want to join a facebook conversation, there is of course a facebook page for that: http://on.fb.me/X6Igjk
