Leo “Pat” G. Szymborski, 79, died April 23, 2013, at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian.
He was born in Camden, N.J., and lived in Micco for 15 years, coming from Pensville, N.J.
He was an operating engineer in the heavy equipment industry.
He was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Dorothy M. Szymborski, of Micco; sons, Leo G. Szymborski, of Jensen Beach, and Steven Szymborski, of Pensville; sister, Cynthia Gatanis, of Pensville; and seven grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Vero Beach and Indian River County, 6230 77th St., Vero Beach, FL 32967.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
