Hawley W. Lincoln III, 82, died April 18, 2013, at the Brennity at The Lakes of Pointe West in Vero Beach.
He was born in New Haven, Conn., and lived in Vero Beach for several years, coming from Madison, Conn.
He worked for more than 50 years as funeral director and president of the Hawley Lincoln Memorial.
He had served as president of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association and as treasurer of the National Funeral Directors Association.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Lois Lincoln, of Vero Beach; daughters, Cynthia Stegmaier, of Hamden, Conn., and Marcia Royster, of Avon, Conn.; son, Hawley W. Lincoln IV, of Guilford, Conn.; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. April 30 at Trinity Church on the Green in New Haven.
Interment will be private.
