Charles “Chuck” Edward Cunningham Jr., 65, Vero Beach

Charles “Chuck” Edward Cunningham Jr., 65, died April 23, 2013, at the Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.

He was born in Jamaica, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 26 years, coming from Huntington, N.Y.

He was a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s College.

He had been a commercial real estate developer on the Treasure Coast.

He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.

He also was a founding member of “Bobby’s Crew.”

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Margaret W. Cunningham, of Vero Beach; son, Patrick Ryan Cunningham, of Attleboro, Mass.; daughter, Margaret Anne Cunningham, of Vero Beach; mother, Gertrude Jean Cunningham, of Exton, Pa.; and sisters, Caren Ryan, of Exton and Jane James, of Miami Beach.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Cunningham Sr.; brother, Michael Cunningham; and sister, Joanne Stetzer.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer & Parkinson Association of Indian River County, 2300 Fifth Ave., No. 150, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. April 27 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.

Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach.
