Earl D. Brown, 67, died April 20, 2013, at Sebastian River Medical Center, Sebastian.
He was born in Miami and lived in Sebastian for 11 years, coming from Coral Cables.
Before retiring he worked as an engineer for Dade County Public Works Department.
He was a member of Sebastian United Methodist Church and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Mary Bennett, of Sebastian; sons, Charlie Squires, of Arche, and Richard Squires, of Barefoot Bay; daughter, Ginger Squires, of Raleigh, N.C.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made the VNA/Hospice House, 901 37th St., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. May 11 at the Sebastian Inlet Grill & Gift restaurant on the second floor.
