13th Annual Charity Shoot targets support for education

VERO BEACH —The Education Foundation of Indian River County invites the community to target support for students and teachers by participating in the upcoming Charity Shoot at Windsor’s Gun Club (Indian River Trap and Skeet) on Saturday, April 27. The event takes place from 10 a.m. to Noon.

The Education Foundation Charity Shoot is a team clay shooting competition. Teams consisting of three guns score points by breaking clays in two disciplines (driven game simulation and quadruple three-stand.) Both scores will be added for the final total team result. Teams will be chosen by random draw.

The participation fee is $150 per person and includes shells (12 and 20 gauge,) clays, ear/eye protection, loaner guns, continental breakfast, and barbeque lunch. Mulligans can also be purchased: 3 for $20 (add to registration.)

Friends of the participants and of the foundation are invited to join the lunch and watch the activities at $35 per person.

Space is limited to 60 participants, so sign up now to compete.
