John C. Scully Jr., 55, died April 16, 2013, at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida, Gainesville.
He was born in Newton, Mass., and moved to Vero Beach 20 years ago from Blackstone, Mass.
He was a graduate of Western New England University.
He was active in the pool construction and maintenance industry and also provided bartending services.
Survivors include his wife, Michele Scully, of Vero Beach; parents, John and Barbara Scully, of Vero Beach; brother, James F. Scully, of Newton, Mass.; sisters, Kathleen Scully-Hayes, of Baltimore, Margaret Crawford, of Mulberry, Ind., Patricia Gleason, of Lake Elmo, Minn., Maryellen O’Malley, of Newton, Mass., and Susan Scully-Rose, of Medfield, Mass.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. April 19 at Strunk Funeral Home in Vero Beach followed by a prayer service at 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
