Donald Butler, 91, died April 9, 2013, at the VNA/Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in New York City and lived in Vero Beach for 26 years, coming from West Islip, N.Y.
He was a graduate of Pace College in New York.
He served in the Army Air Force during World War II.
Before retirement, he was the corporate secretary and accountant for an import/export firm for 30 years.
He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Martha Butler, of Vero Beach; son, Tom Butler, of Vero Beach; daughter, Linda Gibson, of Winthrop, Mass.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Butler.
Services will be at a later date in St. Charles Chapel and Cemetery in Pinelawn, N.Y.
