Patricia Young died April 9, 2013, at her home in Vero Beach.
She was born in Steubenville, Ohio and raised in Youngstown, Ohio.
Patricia attended Marymount College in Tarrytown, N.Y. and graduated from Ursuline College in Cleveland, Ohio.
She settled in the Chicago-area before moving to Florida in 1974.
Young was an accomplished artist whose paintings sold in galleries from Harbor Springs, Michigan to Chicago to Florida.
Survivors include her two sons Edward F. Hoban, of Chicago and Henry A. Hoban, of Chicago; her granddaughter, Mary Flynn Hoban; her brother Joseph Flynn, of Naples; her sister Cleo Gorman, of New Canaan, Conn.; sister-in- law Ibby Flynn, of Scottsdale, Ariz.; many fond nieces and nephews and her very close friend Jay R. Rhoads Jr., of Vero Beach.
She is preceded in death by her parents Frank E. Flynn and Edna Lutz Flynn and brother Raymond Flynn.

A prayer service will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach on Monday, April 15 at 10 a.m.
