Maynard Hicks, 85, died April 5, 2013, at Consulate Nursing Home in Vero Beach.
He was born in Cumberland, Ky., and lived in Indian River County for 10 years, coming from Lake Wales.
He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his daughters, Jamie Hicks, of Vero Beach and Anjanette Davidison, of Wayne, Mich.; sons, Steven Hicks, of New Boston, Mich., and Darvin Hicks, of Taylor, Mich.; and adopted son, Rodney Hicks, of Sebastian.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, April Anselmi.
A memorial service will be later this summer.
