Mary J. Cavanaugh, 98, died April 6, 2013, at the Atlantic Healthcare Center of Vero Beach.
She was born in Jersey City, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for 20 years, coming from Budd Lake, N.J.
She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.
She worked 20 years as an office manager for a Meat Wholesale Distribution Center in Newark, N.J.
Survivors include her son, Jack Cavanaugh, of Vero Beach; daughter, Maureen Wahlers, of Toms River, N.J.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Cavanaugh.
A memorial service will be at a later date at St. Helen Catholic Church.
