Community Business Alliance forms in Indian River County

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A team of more than 30 corporate professionals from across the Treasure Coast launched a new business group called the Community Business Alliance (CBA) based in Vero Beach.

The mission of the CBA is to collaborate with community business owners and managers by providing educational and professional resources.

The two objectives of the CBA are to connect with the local medical and commercial real estate communities in neighboring counties. The CBA will offer physicians and commercial realtors educational seminars including Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits, general business education opportunities, philanthropic endeavors, and social events.

“There is a huge opportunity for the CBA to help open the lines of communication between the medical industry and the ancillary businesses surrounding it and to help revitalize the Realtors Commercial Alliance locally.

Building relationships is a win-win situation for all parties involved,” said Brian Hartman, president of the CBA and vice president/commercial banker at Harbor Community Bank.
