Hermann Terorde, 82, died April 3, 2013, at the VNA Hospice House.
He was born in Dinslaken, Germany, and lived in Vero Beach since 2002, coming from Middle Island, N.Y.
Before his retirement, he worked as a tailor for the Brooks Brothers Co.
He was a member of the Vero Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Jacqueline Terorde, of Vero Beach; son, Michael Terorde, of Louisville, Ky.; daughters, Karen McDonough, of Centereach, N.Y., and Diane Doyle, of Lake Mary; stepson, Joseph Paczkowski, of Seaford, N.Y.; stepdaughter, Janet LeBlanc, of Port St. Lucie; and nine grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice House, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Visitation will from noon to 2 p.m. with a service starting at 2 p.m. April 8 at the Vero Christian Church, 3250 Ninth St. S.W., Vero Beach.
