Aura “Stella” Acosta, 73, died March 29, 2013, at VNA Hospice House.
She was born in Bogota, Colombia, and lived in Vero Beach since 1996, coming from Miami.
She worked at Publix in Vero Beach for 16 years as a cake decorator assistant.
She was a member of the Treasure Coast Ovarian Cancer Alliance and the Prayerful Knitting Group at the Center for Spiritual Care, both of Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughter, Diana M. Acosta, of Vero Beach; and two grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon April 6 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
