Laurie A Tamkus, 54, died March 30, 2013, at her home.
She was born in Danville, Pa., and lived in Vero Beach for 17 years, coming from Fort Lauderdale.
She was the manager of the meat department for Wal-Mart in Vero Beach.
She was a member of the Moose Lodge of Vero Beach.
Survivors include her son, Chad Tamkus, of Fort Lauderdale; brothers, Bill Hoy, of Fort Lauderdale and Tim Hoy and Brian Hoy, both of Pennsylvania; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Hoy.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. April 4 at the Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
