Willie Carl Browning Jr., 53, died March 20, 2013, in Tulsa, Okla.
He was born in Hartford, Conn., and moved to Vero Beach in 1978.
Survivors include his wife, Rachel Donley Browning, of Vero Beach; mother, Christine Browning, of Vero Beach; sons, Willie Carl Browning III, Christopher Browning and James Jackson, all of Vero Beach, and Carl Smith, of Hartford; daughters, Carlean Browning, Zakela Jackson and Cecelia Jackson, all of Vero Beach; brothers, Kevin Browning, of Vero Beach and Kenneth Browning, of Cocoa; sister, Kristina Browning, of Vero Beach; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Karen Glichrist Browning.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. March 29 at Hortense-Mills Memorial Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. March 30 at Bibleway COGIC.
