Canadian Soccer Team to Train at Vero Beach Sports Village

VERO BEACH — Vero Beach Sports Village (VBSV) will host Soccer Nova Scotia’s High Performance Training Camp beginning today, March 27 through Saturday, March 30.

The team consists of the top 20 18 and under girls players in the province. After four days of high-intensity training at VBSV, the team will tour the state to play some of Florida’s top collegiate teams, including Jacksonville University, University of South Florida and the University of Tampa. This team will also represent the province of Nova Scotia in this summer’s Canada Games.

Founded in 1913, Soccer Nova Scotia is a non-profit organization that serves as the governing body responsible for overseeing all matters related to the sport throughout the province. The organization consists of over 27,000 player and more than 5,000 coaches.
