Willis W. “Bill” Copeland, 95, died March 14, 2013.
He was born in Traverse City, Mich., and lived in Vero Beach since 2008.
Before retirement, he was a Michigan conservation officer.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
He was a lifetime member of the Masonic Temple, National Rifle Association and Ducks Unlimited.
Survivors include his son, William H. Copeland, of Valdez, Alaska; daughters, Sue Copeland Armbruster, of Vero Beach and Jan S. Copeland, of Guanajuato, Mexico; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Ardith; son, Rodney L. Copeland.
A memorial celebration of life and interment of ashes will take place in Traverse City, Mich., in late spring.
Arrangements are by Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach.
