Robert W. Lohner, 84, died March 17, 2013, at the VNA/Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Denver and lived in Vero Beach since 1990, coming from Richmond, Va.
He served in the Army at the end of the Korean War.
Before retirement he worked for AT&T Corp. for 20 years.
He was of the Roman Catholic faith.
He received bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and mathematics from the University of Denver.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Joyce M. Lohner; sons, Thomas Lohner, of Midlothian, Va., Mark Lohner, of Igula, Mexico, and John Lohner, of Arvada, Colo.; daughters, Mary Lohner, of Richmond and Jeanne Ashman, of Powhatan, Va.; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice House, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
A celebration of life service will be in June in Richmond.
