Rockin’ around the clock at the dinner theatre

VERO BEACH — Come join the professional cast at Theatre-Go-Round Dinner Theatre, located in the 14th Avenue Steak House, as they rock around the clock in their nostalgic trip from “Those Fabulous 50’s,” a decade of solid gold hits.

Performances will be given on Sundays, March 24, April 7, 21, May 5, and 19. Doors open for dinner at 12:30 p.m. with the matinee at 2 p.m.

The steak house is located at 2023 14th Ave. in the heart of historic downtown Vero Beach.

Do you remember Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow,? Old Cape Cod, Sugartime, Wayward Wind, or Tennessee Waltz? How about Eddie My Love, Poison Ivy, Love Potion #9, or Peppermint Twist?

That’s just a sampling of the nearly 30 solid gold hits that will set your toes a-tapping and your hands a-clapping as Eleanor Dixon, Shamara Turner, and Patty Carreau star in this jiving musical revue from an era of fantastic voices, beautiful harmonies, magical melodies, and classics we’ll always cherish from the American bandstand.

The $45 dinner theatre package includes a 4 course sit-down dinner, show, tax, and gratuity. The menu features soup, salad, the house specialty; slow roasted prime rib with baked potato, vegetable medley, and dessert. Onion encrusted pangasius, a baked, mild, freshwater white fish, is available for non-meat diners if ordered at the time of making your reservation.

An a la carte full beverage, beer, wine, and liquor service is available table side throughout the afternoon. Patrons are invited to meet the cast immediately following the performance in the restaurant’s newly renovated cocktail lounge.

The dinner theatre plans to announce their exciting all new 2013-14 season at the opening performance of “Those Fabulous 50’s” on March 24.
