Donald Chester Caldwell, 86, died March 18, 2013, at home.
He was born in Warsaw, Ky., and lived in Vero Beach for 22 years, coming from Lawrenceburg, Ind.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Before retirement, he was a technician for city government.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Janeth Caldwell; sons, Jeffrey Caldwell, of Georgetown, Ky., and Thomas Caldwell, of Sebastian; sister, Peggy Trennepohl, of Vero Beach; and two grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Thomas S. Lowther Funeral Home & Crematory in Vero Beach.
