Marvin Leo Herschberg, 73, died March 7, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
He was born in New York City and lived in Vero Beach since August 2012, coming from Pawley’s Island, S.C., and South Padre Island, Texas.
He was a former member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in Port Isabel, Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church in Pawley’s Island, and was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, diAnn Herschberg, of Vero Beach; sons, Todd Herschberg, of California and Greg Rushton, of Georgia; daughters, Debra Holder, of California, and Tiffany Rushton and Lindsey Billings, both of South Carolina; brother, Seymour Herschberg, of New York; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ellen Brody Herschberg.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Labre Indian School, Ashland, MT 59004.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. March 20 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
