Edward J. DeBarbieri, 85, died March 15, 2013, at the Florida Baptist Retirement Center in Vero Beach.
He was born in Passaic, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach for 21 years, coming from Nutley, N.J.
He served in the Marine Corps during World War II.
Before retirement he was an executive in a metal manufacturing company.
He was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of the Vero Beach Country Club.
Survivors include his sons, James DeBarbieri, of Nutley, John DeBarbieri, of Bloomfield, N.J., and Jeffrey DeBarbieri, of West Orange, N.J.; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Catherine.
