Unnati Jain named a speaker at State Science Fair

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — The Education Foundation of Indian River County is pleased to announce that Unnati Jain, a Vero Beach High School senior, has been chosen as a 2013 JASON Colloquium Speaker at the 58th State Science and Engineering Fair of Florida (SSEF.)

This is a tremendous honor, as only six other students will be speaking at the opening ceremony at the Lakeland Center’s Youkey Theater on Tuesday, March 26, at 7:30 p.m.

Miss Jain was selected for the honor from a field of more than 50 applicants to address an audience of 1,000 people at the SSEF opening ceremony.

The objective of the JASON Colloquium is to honor the participating students from across the state of Florida and to stimulate the audience toward positive academic goals.

Miss Jain received her bid to the SSEF through participation in the Education Foundation’s Indian River Regional Science and Engineering Fair.

She also received a bid to the International Science & Engineering Fair in Phoenix, AZ, which takes place from May 12–17.
