David Edward Cavasinni, 60, died March 14, 2013.
He was born in Canonsburg, Pa., and lived in Vero Beach for 28 years, coming from McMurray, Pa.
Before retirement, he was a teacher in the St. Lucie County School District.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Amy Cavasinni; sons, David B. and Devin Cavasinni; and sister, Barbara (Cavasinni) Flynn of Potomac, Md.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank “Jiggs” and Kathryn Cavasinni.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Mayo Clinic, 4500 San Pablo Road, Jacksonville, FL 32224 for the research of multiple system atrophy.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. March 19 at the First Christian Church Social Hall, Vero Beach.
