Betty “Kay” Mushung, 77, died March 13, 2013, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Peru, Ind., and lived in Vero Beach for the past 36 years, coming from Monroe, Mich.
She was the owner of The Bride’s Shop in Vero Beach for 20 years and, after retirement, was a greeter at Wal-Mart for the past five years.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Bob; daughters, Kathleen Elizabeth Newbern, of Port St. Lucie and Robin Elaine Mero, of Vero Beach; son, Kristopher Michael Cousino, of Vero Beach; brothers, Charles Pearson, of Atlanta and David Pearson, of Ohio; sister, Judy Ellerman, of Punta Gorda; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. March 20, followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m., at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
