Joseph Patrick Milligan, 91, died March 10, 2013, at Sebastian River Medical Center in Roseland.
He was born in Philadelphia and lived in the Sebastian area for 28 years, coming from his birthplace.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10210, Moose Lodge and the Fraternal Order of the Orioles Nest 272, all of Sebastian.
He was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Micco.
Survivors include his daughters, Margaret Smyth and Kathleen Verdecchia, both of Sebastian; sons, Jim Milligan, of Micco and Joseph Milligan, of Belhaven, N.C.; brother, Charles Milligan, of Palmyra, N.J.; sisters, Catherine Barrett, of Hainesport, N.J., and Anne Schwartz, of Cinnaminson, N.J.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. March 15 at St. Luke Catholic Church in Micco.
