John “John the Barber” Simone Sr., 75, died March 10, 2013, in Sebastian.
He was born in New Haven, Conn., and moved to Vero Beach seven years ago from Port St. Lucie.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Before retirement, he was the manager of a barber shop.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Debra Simone of Vero Beach; daughters, Lisa Marie Love of Jamestown, Tenn., and Ann Marie Banks and Simone Simone, both of Port St. Lucie; sons, John Simone Jr. of Port St. Lucie and Ralph Simone of Sparta, Mich.; sisters, Justine Savenelli of Hampton, Conn., Patricia Ahern of Branford, Conn., Josephine Curello of Port St. Lucie, MaryLou Perrelli of New Haven, Conn., and Barbara Perrotti of Cotati, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Simone Jr.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon March 16, with a service to follow at noon, at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Pierce.
