Harry A. Schalk, 87, died March 10, 2013, at Sebastian River Medical Center, Roseland.
He was born in Cincinnati and lived in Sebastian for 27 years, coming from Pompano Beach.
He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II.
Before retirement, he was employed as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Pompano Beach for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Patricia Schalk, of Sebastian; son, Terry Schalk, of Pompano Beach; daughter, Cynthia Thomas, of Hiltons, Va; three sisters; and two grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date, with inurnment to be at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Pompano Beach.
