Alvin Richard Hume, 83, Vero Beach

Alvin Richard Hume, 83, died March 11, 2013, at his home.

He was born in Somerville, Mass., and lived in Vero Beach for 13 years, coming from Carver, Mass.

Before retirement, he was a foundry supervisor at Wallaston Alloys in Braintree, Mass., for 20 years.

He was of the Protestant Faith.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Winnifred, of Vero Beach; daughters, Wendy Lundell, of Hanson, Mass., Lisa Good, of Newbern, N.C., Linda Pascale, of Aston, Pa.; son, Richard Hume, of Buzzards Bay, Mass.; sister, Gladys Mood, of Winchester, Mass.; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. March 15 at Aycock Funeral Home in Fort Pierce.
