Phyllis Alma Lee Avveduti, 88, died March 4, 2013, at The Place of Vero Beach.
She was born in Auburn, N.Y., and moved to Vero Beach in 1960, relocating in 1986 to Tennessee and returning to Florida in 2008.
She worked as a bookkeeper for Catron Beverage, Vero Beach, and later for Barkett Oil Co. of West Palm Beach.
She spent 23 years volunteering at the Senior Center and Help Center, both of Mount Juliet, Tenn., and the Senior Center in Lebanon, Tenn.
She attended St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Lee Avveduti, of Vero Beach; stepmother, Ruth Heitmann, of Auburn, N.Y.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Peter Louis Avveduti in 2001; husband, Louis Peter Avveduti in 2004; and two sisters, Jean DeKostic and Arlene Krol.

Services will be at 10 a.m. March 29 at Fort Hill Cemetery in Auburn.
