VERO BEACH — The beloved Mozart Requiem will be performed by the Atlantic Symphonic Chorus and orchestra with several guest soloists under the direction of Dr. Jose Daniel Flores on March 9 at 7 p.m. at The Community Church located at 1901 23rd St. in Vero Beach.
The acclaimed Atlantic Schola Cantorum and Atlantic Children’s Chorale join forces with additional selected singers from the Treasure Coast to form the only symphonic chorus in the area. With children on the soprano part, this group is unique, being one of very few intergenerational choirs in the United States.
The Flores brothers have shared the stage before on a memorable piano-organ duel. This time the organist will hold the baton for the orchestra while Dr. Marcos Daniel Flores performs the poignant Mozart Concerto #20 in D minor.
This is a not to be missed opportunity for a captivating and inspiring evening.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $15 for students and can be obtained by calling (772) 778-1070 or visiting our website www.CommunityConcertSeries.org.
