Ruth E. O’Bryan, 72, died Feb. 25, 2013, at VNA/Hospice House in Vero Beach.
She was born in Glen Cove, N.Y., and lived in Sebastian for 15 years, coming from Middletown, N.Y.
She received her master’s in language arts from William Patterson University, Patterson, N.J.
She was an active member of King’s Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Walter O’Bryan, of Sebastian; son, Stephen O’Bryan, of Glendale, Calif.; daughter, Sheryl O’Byan, of Centennial, Colo.; brother. Daniel Eriksen, of Deland; and two grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the support of Sheryl O’Bryan at WorldVenture, (a mission sending agency) 1501 W. Mineral Ave., Littleton, CO 80120.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. March 2 at Kings Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. at the church.
