Clarence E. Newmon, 75, died Feb. 26, 2013, at VNA/Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born in Fitzgerald, Ga., and lived in Indian River County for 63 years.
He was retired from Piper Aircraft as an aircraft mechanic.
He was a member of Bethel AME Church in Fellsmere.
He was a member of the Indian River Sheriff’s Department, American League Post 181 and the Little Umpire League.
Survivors include his son, Cedric Newmon, of Daytona Beach; daughter, Celeste Smith, of Vero Beach; brothers, Paul J. Newmon Sr. and Charles W. Newmon Sr. both of Philadelphia; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. March 2 at Stone Brothers Funeral Chapel in Vero Beach.
