George Alfred Vorrath Jr., 78, died Feb. 22, 2013, at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian.
He was born in Newark, N.J., and lived in Sebastian for 34 years, coming from Andover, N.J.
He worked for Harris Corp. in Palm Bay for 15 years as a printer before his retirement in 1994.
He is survived by his sons, George Vorrath III, of Vero Beach, and Dennis Vorrath, of Galax, Va.; daughter, Dale VanTassel, of Lyman, S.C.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Childrens’ Research Hospital, 5011 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 26, 2013, at the Strunk Funeral Home Sebastian.
Interment will be in Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, N.J.
