VERO BEACH — On Saturday, Feb. 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Museum Art School studio classrooms will feature free-of-charge hands-on art activities for all ages.
Other offerings include: Artist Spotlight Presentations by Museum Art School faculty members; Artist Demonstrations; and the Museum Art School Faculty Exhibition in the Patricia M. Patten Community Gallery.
There is no admission charge to see any museum exhibitions on this day with docents in the galleries for visitor questions. Exhibitions include THE GOLDEN AGE OF EUROPEAN PAINTING FROM THE SPEED ART MUSEUM (in the Holmes Gallery;) KATHARINE HEPBURN: Dressed for Stage and Screen (in the Titelman Gallery;) RECYCLED REALITY: Pablo Cano’s Marionettes (in the Schumann Gallery;) Selections from the Permanent Collection (in the Stark Gallery and Alice and Jim Beckwith Sculpture Parks;) Art in Bloom (Holmén Hall;) Museum Art School Faculty Exhibition (Patricia M. Patten Community Gallery;) and the Eggert Children’s Gallery.
The Museum Café/Catering by Adrienne Drew in the Laura and Bill Buck Atrium will offer an array of soups, salads, sandwiches, sweets, and refreshments.
The Museum Store will be open to surprise and delight shoppers with all-occasion cards, books, superb gifts, apparel, jewelry, home décor, and its fabulous “children’s corner.”
