Vernetta Mae Bunton, 92, died Feb. 13, 2013.
She was born in Wimber, Pa., and lived in this area for four years, coming from Harleysville, Pa.
She was of Lutheran Faith. She recently joined the Fishing Chicks of Sebastian.
Survivors include her daughter, Vernetta “Nettie” L. Bunton, of Vero Beach; sons, Robert Bunton, of Lancaster, Pa., and James Bunton, of Harleysville, Pa.; brothers, Bob Schaffer and Ervin Schaffer, both of Carlisle, Pa., and Charles Schaffer, Dewey Schaffer and Melvin Schaffer, all of Newville, Pa.; sisters, Mary Lou Bowman, of Harleysville, Pa., Dolores Statler, of Commerce, Ga., Phoebe Bear, of Carlisle, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60-plus years, Charles Bunton, in 1995; and son, Chick Bunton, in 1994.
