Kathryn “Katy” John, 91, died Feb. 5, 2013, at Florida Baptist Retirement Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in East Brady, Pa., and lived in Vero Beach for 33 years, coming from Butler, Pa.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughters, Judith Bandura and Terri Profitt, both of Vero Beach; brothers, Raymond Hillwig Jr., of Sarver, Pa., and Daniel Hillwig, of Chicora, Pa.; 14 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Joseph B. John; and son, David R. John.
Memorial contributions may be made to Florida Baptist Retirement Center, 1006 33rd St., Vero Beach, FL 32960.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 8 at Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
A Mass will be at 10 a.m. Feb. 9 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
