Gladys E. Monroe, 75, died Feb. 1, 2013, at Atria Inn at Lakewood, Colo.
She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Vero Beach for 35 years, coming from New Jersey.
She was a homemaker.
She was an active member and volunteer at the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of Vero Beach.
Survivors include her daughter, Gayla McGoldrick, of Evergreen, Colo.; son, Glenn Risedorf, of Vero Beach,; stepsons, Richard Monroe, of Vero Beach, Michael Monroe, of Marmora, N.J., and James R. Monroe, of Melbourne Beach; four grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert H. Monroe.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 8 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
