Ella Daphine Harper, 75, died Feb. 1, 2013, at the Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Seville and lived in Vero Beach from 1968 to 1998 and returned to Vero Beach in November of 2012, coming from Hartford, Ala.
She worked as a security guard at Castaway Cove, Vero Beach, before moving to Alabama, where she also performed security work.
Survivors include her daughters, Valerie R. Diggs, of Vero Beach, Antoinette Neilans, of Batavia, N.Y., Robin McGuire, of Panama City Beach and Heather Harper, of Sebastian; son, Christopher Harper, of Hartford; sisters, Linda and Vicki; brother, Michael; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard W. Harper.
Services are private.
