Patricia Ann Howard, 87, died Jan. 28, 2013, at Grace Rehabilitation Center, Vero Beach.
She was born in Passaic, N.J., and lived in Vero Beach since 2003, coming from Miami.
She retired from Bell South as a supervisor after 28 years of service.
She was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church and served as a Eucharistic minister and director of religious education at Christ the King Catholic Church, Perrine.
She was a member of St. John of the Cross Women’s Guild, Vero Beach; the Knights of Columbus Women’s Auxiliary; a life member of the Telephone Pioneers of American; and a volunteer with Right To Life.
Survivors include her son, Charles W. Howard of Mission Viejo, Calif.; daughter, Kathleen E. Ryan of Vero Beach; sister, Sister Mary Yvonne Osborne of Red Bank, N.J.; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Howard; and daughter, Rosemary Howard.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., Feb. 1 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.
