Oak Harbor hosts bingo event Feb. 7

VERO BEACH — The 8th Annual Bingo event benefiting the Senior Resource Association will take place on Thursday, Feb. 7, at Oak Harbor at 4755 S. Harbor Dr.

The ‘Simply Wild’ jungle-themed event will serve complimentary mimosas at 11:30 a.m., with lunch being served at Noon.

The bingo event is open to all ages. New and exciting prizes for bingo winners include two tickets to Les Misérables, a weekend at Costa d’Este Beach Resort, and original artwork by Anita Prentice.

“For the last month, we have received many calls from ladies asking for the date so they may book it on their calendars. This is definitely a do not miss event,” says Karen Deigl, President and CEO of the Senior Resource Association.

The event is sponsored by New Vision Eye Center, Communications International, Essex Asset Management, Mrs. Denise Hegener, Mr. and Mrs. William Luke, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Michael, Premier Estate Properties, Treasure Coast Financial Planning, Mr. and Mrs. James Singer, Mrs. Aileen Hoguet, Mrs. Gail Malin, and Perkins Medical Supply.

Interested guests can purchase tickets for $85. All tickets include mimosas, lunch, and all bingo supplies.

This event attracts close to 200 participants, including both bingo enthusiasts and novices alike.

Proceeds from the Simply Wild Bingo event will benefit the Senior Resource Association program including Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Services, Social Congregate Meals, and In-Home Services.
