Flora “Flo” Esslinger, 90, Vero Beach

Flora “Flo” Esslinger, 90, died Jan. 18, 2013, in Castle Rock, Colo.

She was born in Springfield, Ill. and lived in Vero Beach for 35 years, coming from Miami.

Before retirement, she was a manager of Bressler’s Ice Cream in Vero Beach.

She was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church.

She was involved with the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary of Vero Beach.

Survivors include her son, Bill, of Castle Rock; brother, Bill DiPasquale; sisters, Ange Barber and Mary Smith; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Esslinger Sr.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Helen Council of Catholic Women, c/o St. Helen Church, P.O. Box 2927, Vero Beach, FL 32961.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Jan. 26, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at noon at St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach.

Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce.

Arrangements are by Aycock Funeral Home, Fort Pierce.
